About Ryan Reese

Ryan Reese’s life has been full of unexpected twists and turns, leading him down paths he never could have imagined. After realizing that his passion for the arts wasn’t enough to pay the bills, Reese found himself in a digital marketing job at an air conditioning company with a crazy owner. It wasn’t until he stumbled upon an open position at a SERVPRO franchise that Reese finally found his niche.

As one of the premier restoration companies in the world, SERVPRO has thousands of franchises across the US and Canada. Reese’s journey led him to a small franchise in Sanford, Florida, where he started out with the intention of finding a different job as soon as possible. But something about SERVPRO spoke to him, and he ended up winning the employee of the year award in 2021.

More than just a job, SERVPRO gave Reese a new perspective on the world. Every day brought new disasters, from mold and fire damage to the shocking aftermath of meth lab explosions. “It opened an entire new world to me,” Reese says. “I realized that there’s so much more going on behind the scenes that we don’t even know about.”

Today, Ryan Reese is still based in Florida, but he’s come a long way from his days as a struggling artist. With a career that encompasses writing, filmmaking, music, and marketing, he’s learned that sometimes the path you end up on can be just as rewarding as the one you planned on. And he’s grateful for the experiences that have led him to where he is today.
